Warwickshire Health Intelligence Bulletins

Health related data is released on a regular basis by organisations such as NHS Digital – formerly known as the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC), Public Health England (PHE) and the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Public Health Warwickshire produce Intelligence Bulletins to raise awareness of the publication of new data. They can be used by anyone with an interest in understanding the health of the population in Warwickshire and how it compares nationally.

Bulletins cover a wide range of public health areas, including:

  • Specific health conditions – cancer, mental health, diabetes
  • Lifestyle risk factors – smoking, obesity, physical activity, alcohol consumption
  • Healthy places and the wider determinants of health – deprivation, environment, fuel poverty
  • Health protection – screening, vaccinations
  • Life expectancy and mortality
  • Latest health profiles and national survey results
